FPS suddenly locked at 30

Hi everyone,

Don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. Last night I logged out with no issues or whatsoever. This morning I logged in and my game's FPS capped at 30. Sometimes when I tab out it goes up again, but after a few seconds it drops back to 30. The screenlag is noticeable as soon as I open my client (background cinematic runs at a capped 30 FPS as well).

I know 30 FPS is playable for most players. But I'm used to playing at a steady FPS and I do notice the sudden FPS drop. Especially my OCD's going crazy over it. If anyone else has this problem or if anyone knows how to fix it, I'd love to hear about it.

What I've tried so far:
- Turning ingame Vsync on and off
- Turning Nvidia's Vsync on and off
- Closing Nvidia Experience
- Turning Triple Buffering on and off

What I'd rather not immediately try:
- Reinstalling the game
- Deleting WTF folder

check addons, i had 30 fps cause of some addon, try first disable "out of date" ones. I cant remember which exactly it was. one of the popular was.

Thanks. I might try that later. Thing is I've never had any issues regarding FPS before. Haven't added any new addons either. Can't possibly be that one of my addon just suddenly decided to #rek my FPS? I've been postponing a gfx driver update for some time as well, might see if updating my drivers helps.

did you rename or move the wow folder recently?

I rebooted my PC and it fixed it for someone reason. Weird.. Thanks for the replies tho guys!
