Technical Error creating character

hey,
i´m playing since today on the Server Icecrown.
Created a Blood Elf Warlock and played a while.
All my friends are Alliance.. so i want to as Alliance.
Tried to create an alliance Char.. and deleted my old one.
Everytime i get "Error creating character".
I restarted my game also a few times.

What is the Problem? Or should i create another account and try it again?

are you using the cleint with wod models? if so change the look around, some hairstyles n stuff won't let you create the toon.

I only use the "Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a"-Version that you can download here and didnt change anything.
I will try some models and maybe a different race for it.

ok tried it with a gnome instead of human. That worked instantly.
