Newcomer faction questions [PVE/PVP]

Well, here is the thing, I have no faction preference (having always switched back and forth). I heard the ratio between Alliance and Horde is rather "even" (with Horde having only a few more). Now, with that in mind:

1. In which faction will I have an easier time with progression? Finding dungeons, heroics and raids...

2. What about PvP? Is there a dominant faction? I simply do not want to loose every time I queue for BGs.

3. Overall quality and maturity of players. If one faction is dominating, it is most likely due to people simply "sucking" at their class. In other words, I want to know which side is prone to do what they are supposed to do, like doing the objective while PvPing and not standing right next to a boss's AoE or pulling things before the tank holding aggro.

4. At last but not least, what about friendliness and the least amount of jerks and trolls (no, not the race)?

1. Both factions.

2. Nope, winrates between 40% and 60% for both factions.

3. Both sides have amazing players and not that amazing players, just like it has always been and will always be on every server.

4. Both sides have friendly and not so friendly players.

Roll Alliance, trust me.

Roll horde, favorised by bugs (intentional or not, i dont know) working vendors and other stuff to get you that advandage just right.
