    PvP Gear math problem

    So, a guildie of mine said following.
    If you equip 2p twice, you get 58 spellpower and 200 resilience, and thats dandy.
    If you Equip 4p once, you get 117 spellpower and the Boni, still dandy.

    Now, his math is as following:
    The 88 spellpower granted by 4p is an upscaling of 29 spellpower.
    So according to him, 58 - 88 = 30 Spellpower lost.
    My Version was 58 - 117 = 59 Spellpower lost.

    Ok, let's compare both.

    2p² = 58 Spellpower + 200 resilience
    4p = 117 Spellpower + 100 Resilience + Set Boni.

    While the 100 Resilience is nice for a priest, at a certain threshold you are hitting a soft cap, at which resilience degrades in value, right?
    When would that spot be hit, and would it be worth as a Priest to go for 2p twice instead of 4p.

    Thanks in advance.

    Disc - go 4p
    Shadow in a dual-dps comp in arena (if u get focused a lot) - go 2p + 2p
    Shadow in a team with a healer - go 4p

    1,4k resi is the soft cap, it's pretty much impossible to reach with current gear so don't worry about stacking resi.

    4 set is for max mana regen. 2x2 set is for tanking but you will go oom faster so you need to choose if you want mana regen or survivability. Both are viable choices. In current meta the 4 set is better tho unless you play double dps like DakMonkey said.

    The 100 resil from double 2 set bonus is nothing compared to 2 seconds reduction on weakened soul. going for double set bonus is just stupid and mostly done by less than average skilled players.
