WotLK Wow gaming mouse

Hi, i have one of those wow gaming mouses, it works fine on mop but on wotlk it says i dont have a gaming mouse connected. Is there something that can be done?

It's refusing to acknowledge that I have the Steel Series WoW Gaming Mouse (Legendary Edition) connected, even though I've confirmed the drivers are in fact, installed.

Anyone able to get this working?

To wit, this is (also) on the WotLK client.
