honestly haven't had time doing DS in a long time with all the new/old content being released and all, most people have stopped doing it afaik cus no vp, no gems, no token from yor and the final [Glory of the Noob Raider] gained by killing every boss with achievs on hc..

I'd direct you to the feedback thread where a few people and I have posted most of the bugs that came with the update and staff replies saying they will be looked into and fixed when the devs find fixes for them that won't break the rest of the game

it's quite impressive that with the kind of team they have, there's like 80% of the devs working on WotLK, 15% on MoP and 5% on Cata, and yet WotLK isn't working properly (AKA you can't kill Sindragosa or Lich King, which are the final bosses of the expansion), among much more ****.

So, WotLK isn't exactly receiving "profesionnal treatment". Focus? yes. But as long as this focus improves the expansion, not really.


I'll guess and say that Warmane makes money into the millions. Let's say 33k players have donated at least 10 euros, that's 330.000 dollars. To this add what some people donate monthly and those that donate more than 80-100 euros

I won't get in detail because I don't actually know about Warmane's financials or the size of the developper team, but if financials don't let Kaer Wolf hire or have more than just 2 developpers for Cataclysm and who knows how many for MoP, they should reconsider their business model and strategy. If you claim to be a WotLK server, then shut down Cata and MoP and focus on the expansion you have chosen as a priority.

Your guess of Warmane's income is just that. A guess, which means you cannot judge Warmane on their resource usage based on a number you just made up.
You go on about their income but not their final profit is, after paying wages & paying for the servers. Plus whatever else a private server has to pay for.

If you want play MoP or Wotlk, you can go now.

They working on fixes so just wait. Be patient, you are here for free and same problem with fixes you can see on MoP. New fixes = new crashes, DCs etc. Same for Wotlk - new fixes = new crashes, DCs etc

I see you are probably new to nelth, im playing here for 2 years and all what we got are will be soon, or some broken updates. It will be alot better if they say we dont have intentions to update this. And they working on fixes cuz they broke main things, so they have to fix that main things.

I'm here 4 year :P I'm from worst servers than Neltharion and I know about wow scripts and free servers I'm just patient

both Nelth and Sargeras were populated ~8k players at peak time. The community was engaging with pvp ladder and tournaments. After moltdown we dont have that kind of resource anymore. People moved on to other expansions or servers but you forgot that Cata can still attract a large player base from wotlk (the expansion pvp is beyond broken due to bugs/mechanics and heroic content are less challenging compare to fully scripted FL/DS). I think its important to manage exploits/bugs that disconnect the server, this is number 1 valid reason to make ppl quit. The other day i reported a player that crashed the realm intentionally but hes still around without any gm response. We can tolerate bugs but cheat hack exploit and especially realm crash will **** the server

Neltharions population was even worse before Moltdown than it is now. Sargeras was the only one with a decent population months before Moltdown.

its funny that people think cata raiding is harder then wotlk raiding XD on retail and warmane wotlk raiding is/was harder ! and im not the only one that has this opinion there are tons of ppl on retail and warmane that share my opinion ! but keep in mind pve is always follow scripted routines , so if u are not braindead u can achiev something in pve .

its sad to see neltharion is gettin no attetion from the staff :/ cata is a awesome expansion and the people who play on neltharion deserve more updates /fixes !

Yes, it's utter bull**** that can only be guessed and is not actual proof of the statistics. But there's one thing we know, and it's that Cata only has 2 developpers working on it currently. One of them is Green_dev and the other one, I don't know his/her name

If their income doesn't let them allocate more devs to cataclysm or MoP, then yes, they should reconsoder their strategy

Or perhaphs they have the resources and they're doing this on purpose, hoping the last Bastion of neltharion will move to other realms sooner or later

Nelth will never be upgraded to mop because mop isnt even profitable nor populated. The best thing that could happen to Nelth is some sort of merge with other cata private which only allow character transfer include starter gear
