I use the Steelseries cata gaming mouse, but when I go to the interface and try to detect it, it won't detect it, am I screwed on using this mouse to it full potential cause it was released after WotLK?

I had this mouse previously and wasn't satisfied by it. Now I have Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse. I bought one of these mice because of 3 main reasons. 1: because I wanted a wireless mouse with a long battery life. 2: Because I like the ability to have some of the controls on the mouse because it offers more versatility. 3. It was a good review on this gaming mouse in several sites.
Right out of the box this mouse is awesome, it's lightweight, has good grip that doesn't feel like sandpaper, bottom the side buttons are quite easy to push, and the top ones are kinda awkward until you get used to them.
The software that comes with the mouse is also extremely intuitive. Upon opening for the first time it searches your computer for games that have already been profiled and add's their profiles. Each profile lists the actual controls for each game, which you can then assign to each button respectively.
So overall it's an amazing mouse for a great price.
