Is it me or is it warmane?

Ever since about 45 minutes ago I've been getting insane lag. I tried asking in general chat and got the usual "stop downloading porn" response so hoping I can get some actual help asking through this outlet. I play on the weekdays during the day (Midwest USA) timezone regularly and quite a bit. Today was the first time I've ever experienced this sort of lag and it sounds like I was the only one on who was. I did pick up a couple new addons (tidyplates and GTFO) last time I played but it didn't see to cause any issues last time or for the majority of today so I don't think its that either. My only other thought could be is warmane throttling our connection speed if we aren't doing their "subscription" they have set up now that you have to do to get out of the long que's logging in? After they merged the servers and then declared we have to subscribe to avoid these ques I pretty much have been suspicious everytime something seems out of the ordinary while I'm playing.

premium was always required to skip queue's, even back when we only had a 4k/4.5k player cap. people just got so use to not having them they forgot what it's like to have a queue.

that aside, fi you're lagging and no one else is, the issue is either on your end, or somewhere along the path of your computer and warmanes servers. neither of which are warmanes fault nor can they do much about it.

In warmanes defense, I understand you need to cover costs...but you were doing it before when the servers were split. I may have pinpointed it to bad hardware on my end for the connection issues but I'm glad its not only me having issues here. I think the $5 more it costs to subscribe to "paid wow" is tempting now that we have to pay to even play this one :/

you don't have to pay. you can wait if you don't feel like paying. and 15$ a month for retail, compared to a 1 time 10$ cost here. pretty stupid to compare the 2 imo.
