So far I've played a Spriest till 70, and it's kind of boring. I want to make a second character that will be a fun dps class. I've stopped myself on rogue, because is seems pretty fun. But, some guys from the guild were saying how rogue and warlock (my two preferred classes) are underplayed, and thus not that good in PvE. I wasn't that sure about it, but actually how good are rogues in pve, and what spec do you even dps with? I see that Combat is better for leveling or maybe subtlety if you're gonna pvp, but what is the most viable in dungeons and raids?
Lets not bring up ICC raid logs around here, been there done that. That's coming from a guy who plays sub. Rogues are good. Rogues are great if you L2P. Play what you want to play, that's what I tell people when choosing a class. Stop worrying about if you are going to top meters, it's clear that you have an ego issue at that point. I play Sub personally. IDC if people will argue that it's not "good" DPS, I do it because A) I already know it can be B) It arguably has one of the most complex rotations. I play it because I love it. I encourage you to do the same when searching for what class/spec to play.
Just play combat spec it's the highest dps spec in PvE for rogues and we have that amazing ability called killing spree but as Carnivusx2 says just learn to play your spec.
