Idk but with the new core, a lot of raiding scripts dont work anymore. Like the Frost boss in Voa doesnt spawn orbs and a lot of hc bosses just dont have scripts anymore and are just nuke. (Wotlk realm)

From what I understood these were fixed in the last changelog @Thatforumname
@Sacris in the beginning of the year between cata rarely getting any fixes and getting shut down chose rarely ever getting any fixes. Not sure why are you now surprised about them not being in the changelog - it seems it wont be the next priority either, as they seem to be working a lot on mists of pandaria

Oh. I forgot it had been removed.
It was in the "Retrospective 2015. Prospective 2016." thread. One of the main topics of the thread being the prospect of removing/closing the Cataclysm expansion so that we could devote more resources to the other two expansions. This was his response to it.

His "hashtag" explains why I felt the link was relevant to Deathmastered's post. OP was all for the removal of Cataclysm.

Cata pvp works pretty well and a lot of people enjoy it. It doesn't have the same development priority the other expansions do, but you should know that going in when you decide to play there. Many still enjoy Neltharion.

I was about to open this thread, except for the part that I am and have been pro-cata ^^
Anyway, is there any reason cataclysm has been left out? Or is it still being written?

yes i did not want to play cataclysm i rather play on mop but since people voted for cata to stay you should put some Attention to it..not like i play there anymore because DS is super easy with all these bugs in it, pvp i rather not talk about it (again)...and i dont really care if you fix something i honestly dont even play there (Went to mop) but like the thing that makes me mad is

you just like cut out cataclysm ..then why didnt you close neltharion ? would be much better you would maybe lost like 2 k ppl MAX but u would not have to take care about that expansion (not like you do) but you could do ONLY WotLK&MoP fixes..
but since you kept cata (unfortunately) you really should put the attention in it..atleast fix these bugs that are there for about THAN THREE YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE ?! 36 MONTHS+-
and last thing..people voted for cataclysm to stay because they trusted you that you WILL put some attention to it and maybe fix something like those stuff that belong to cataclysm - DS&FL...
and i honestly believe if you said that "Choose do you want cataclysm to stay,THERE WONT BE SINGLE FIX FOR IT,EVERYTHING WILL STAY AS IT IS RIGHT NOW" people would not wanna play it..ofc only those rets,rogs and bugged classes with op bugged items ...

The poll was to close cata or to leave it open but with almost no fixes at all. People voted to leave it up w/o fixes.

at the very least they should say "Latest information about the development status has been posted for our WotLK and MoP realms in our devlog." not "all" as if Cata isn't even an expansion they support

Yes, but that is NOT what this thread is about, right?
This is about a text the staff posted, that it has been updated for ALL realms. It clearly has not been updated for ALL realms. I know that there will be near to no fixes (which i do find sad, but thats another story). It just has nothing to do with the text that they wrote on the mainpage now.

I'm pretty sure there was a thing "after we finish lordareon we will prioritize on cataclysm" not sure if it was b4 the vote or after just so everyone remembers that we were suppose to get priority ;)
not sure what happend to it but as it has happend many times there is prob answer something in forum...maybe in like MoP thread
