Hunters pets and warlocks demons

I have been having an issue where the pets (attack) and warlocks demons are not automatically firing or attacking like they should on defensive. Always have to spam press control 5 or keep pressing the attack button on the bar. Gets annoying. They should automatically attack when on defensive. Suppose shoot or attack the same thing I am. Is there a fix for this issue?

You can make a macro , to cast attack (pet) + one of you main spells , so when u cast any of your main spells the pet will automaticly attack your target.
