WotLK Felguard vs voidwalker

Why is it better to use felguard from lvl 50 instead of voidwalker?With a vw it's much easier to aoe,just put dots on,aoe taunt with pet and rain of fire.On single target felguard isbetter ofc(not much better though).Felguard's aoe attack is not enough to hold aggro(while being pretty weak),so i get attacked instead of pet,and it's regen is crap,i have to heal him after the fights.

Well almost everything you said is right:
1. with VW it is much easier to kill 3-4 mobs simultaneously
2. it can be easier to fight an elite as well
3. when fighting with 1 or 2 mobs felguard seems to be much better
4. if you feel mana feed is not enough or your FG is on too low HP just resummon him (with FD)

So everything depends on how and where you do the levelling, but usually:
- you deal with 1 or 2 mobs so killing them with FG will be faster
- you can avoid pulling 3-4 mobs (cc)... if its not possible just switch to vw for a while (Fel Domination CD)

But again the difference is not that significant and if you feel yourself more comfortable with VW then just use him.
