Every single human being has their downsides and you should respect and give people credit for everything else they do and are; Starting from the point that someone is a bad person just because she does something that you don't like reminds me of this: Don't you do something in your life that might bother people as well? Are they having a proper behaviour if they just break you in half because you do that?

No she didn't like me smoking because of the exact same reason; She didn't like the smell of it and she didn't like my habit of smoking as soon as I finished my coffee but she got used to it and I tried to respect her by smoking away from her or by chewing a gum after smoking. Ways around it do exist.

I assume (correct me if I'm wrong but this is the impression I have so far) you never had a "real relationship"; Something that is really intense and that last for a good ammount of time; Some kind of relationship with a girl that requires you to make sacrifices, shape yourself to her (vice-versa) and someone that makes you see things from different sides of the cube. A time consuming relationship that requires effort and that also took over your feelings and racional side.

And yes it is innocence in it's purest shape. He still isn't able to recognize that feelings can storm you by surprise and that some people just turn your world upside down sometimes.

Breaking News: people who smoke don't necessarily smoke 24/7; it's possible to find out they smoke only when it's too late.

And yes it is innocence in it's pure shape. He still isn't able to recognize that feelings can storm you by surprise and that some people just turn your world upside down sometimes.

Part 1: I cant judge people for smoking, but I do have full rights to decide in what relationship (friend, acquintance, neutral etc) I want to be with each person.
Part 2: Sad part is that gum has way shorter effect on smell than smoking. A bit more about it later.
Part 3: Yes, but I know the reasons for it. (why I'm not in a relationship)
Part 4: I still haven't gotten an answer on the question how can I like a person I can't talk to irl.

Breath is affected by smoking for 48-72 hours after smoking. Chewing gum does take it off partly, but not completely because of the area smoking affects and the duration chewing gum works.

If you truly believe that you'll be able to only talk with people that you enjoy and that fit your "perfect state of purity" you'll learn through a hard way that you won't.

I know that I won't, but I also know it's up to me to decide how often and in what distance do I speak with them.

The theory does have a reasoning, however even that has borders. In my case polar opposite would be girl who gets drunk and high every single day, loves using drugs, disobeys every rule possible and doesnt care about herself if we take it strictly. Since I'm kind of calm type of person who tries to protect and help others as much as I'm able to with as much suffering as possible, it might be possible that the opposite would be the aggresive type of person - one I have to protect, however, she would still either be ok with my stance of not interfering with carma if not even trying to have the same opinion about it as me. I probably fcked up the passage but I hope you got what I meant.

Edit: With aggresive I meant active type, the one who takes action sometimes without thinking before doing so, not the one who wants to kill everyone around.
