Bugg on Knights of the Ebon Blade Chain Quest!

I started chain quest and the first quest can't be completed!! [It's All Fun and Games] quest do not complete after kill The Ocular. Can someone help me?! I tryed to kill far from Ocular...and "inside" of him...no way I tried worked!!

As for solution, this is a 50/50 tricky way, but worked on some people, including my guildie. The trick here is to land on one of the four narrow pointy pillar where the Ocular is located (either dismount and land firmly or set your gryphon until it lands then dismount). As a side note, my guildie did it using the item along with his own abilities on the Ocular as well.

You have to make sure the eye attacks you first before you use the quest item to kill it otherwise you wont get credit for the kill.
