1. Icecrown Stablity

Today alone (08/03/2016) The server Icecrown has gone down approx. 15 times in less than 3 hrs. Is something going on? Are you, the staff aware of the crap the server is doing? If so, do you have plans to stabilize the server? I would much rather have a stable server than these stupid Hide and seek things that you do everyday......

  2. #1. crash issues do occur when new content (The Battle for Undercity recently?) is released and certain little bits of code make realm crash, might not even be a script connected to this quest chain but something seemingly unrelated that uses the same base script

#2. there are admins/game masters that run events, forums, help with issues and similar, and there are developers that are not on forums or on live realms much, spending their time coding and testing scripts on separate servers

so yes realm is unstable, but I expect the issue will be patched up within a few days and stability will return

  3. The server has gone down 2 more times since my initial post.

@Islingr, the point of my mockery of in game events is that they are getting paid to host them. Instead of paying a person to host a stupid event, maybe spend the donated money on the servers and proper programming? Just maybe? I've been playing here since pre-warmane when it was Molten. I well aware of the programming issues and instability that is caused due to new content and such. but one quest chain shouldn't be doing all of this damage.

  4. Why do you think that GMs are paid? Yes server is not very stable at the moment, but you are not exactly paying, so buckle up, and give them time to sort the issues.

  5. The point of the post was to see if the staff was aware of the issues, not to have people attempt to point out that the server will be back to the normal crash every 12hours. They brought both Lordaeron and Icecrown down now so lets hope the issues are resolved in a decent time frame.

Oh, Popeye67, I'm not saying I pay for it...But I have donated more than a little bit of money to ensure the server is treated well. Maybe if you actually read the original post you would know that.

  6. @pallydiam - It's probably not the quest chain doing all the damage. It may have something to do with the person who was threatening a ddos attack earlier today in global... give them a break

  7. And I going on rants about how "crappy the server is"...No. Read the initial post Sir Troll. I asked the staff if they were aware. And yes, I logged back in to see Admin-Proterean post about the issues were player caused. Jesus you people need to learn to read lawlalalalal
