rogue alliance choice race in Icecrown

Hello!
What race i should choice for rogue in alliance ? I play in Icecrown realm.

i didnt say that but i ask just about pvp and i think some people can say the better race is night elf or even gnome,dwarf i see manny rogue night elf in blackrock but here we have all trinket that why i ask

Personally for me Human is best for rogue as your additional trinket will help on your burst. You will need to do some PvE if you want good damage though. Plus, it's easier to detect enemy druid/rogue with perception, as they don't know where exactly you are (and this is honestly my #1 reason why I play human as rogue. Now if someone's going to ask, do I think human is better for all classes? I'd say no, for example, as priest I prefer Night Elf. Priests unfortunately aren't that hard to be CC'd, so it's great to have some spell you would like to avoid with Shadowmeld, or you can even opt for some burst spell such as chaos bolt or lava burst, or death coil even if you press it fast

You said PvP, so human is the obvious answer. Night elf racial is next to useless, gnome racial is veeeeeeeeeeeeery situational, just like the dwarf racial. The human racial is versatile, just like the PvP trinket, and it allows you to equip a second trinket.

The clear winner.

Dwarf is actually amazing when you account the fact that your strongest counters aka a bleed, Hunters Warriors fellow rogues ect all stop u from restealth ect with a rend,rupture,garrote ect Being able to drop all debuffs makes dwarf pretty dam competitive.
Just yeno dont go female dwarf unless your trying to scare the enemy team to death instead of stabby stabby.

in pvp, if a class can be human, then human it is. every one can argue with it, but the fact still stays. at some situacions, maybe other race would fit better, but all round winner would be human with no doubts. Only pve players chose differently.

Human is absolutely superior for rogue class.

Not to mention second trinket with huge burst, you will have +10 stealth detection passive bonus wich means you will have opener in 90% situations against horde rogues and 100% against any druids.

Retribution blood elf paladin is awesome, in good hands.
For holy human is way better, no doubts.

Nightelf is incredible, as long as you have the skill to utilize meld properly. SMing a blind, cheapshot, chaosbolt, you name it can be pretty much game winning.

It sounds good in theory, but reality is that the dwarf racial is outclasses by humans putting on a skeleton key. This is purely going off of BGs, duels or playing combs which aren't including a priest (mage/rogue for example). If you play disc rogue or spriest rogue then the racial becomes dead, since bubble coordination is pretty much part of the basics.


That being said, @OP:

If you do not have a 2nd good (and i mean GOOD in this case) DPS trinket but you have the skill to utilize shadowmeld in a proper way, go with nightelf. It's a great race to go with, with a large outplay potential (comparable to belf racial i'd say). If you on the other hand aim for good trinkets or prefer using 1 DPS + 1 utility trinket (bauble, skeleton key, battlemaster) then human is 100% your choice. Human is also incredibly good for gearing towards BiS, since you lose the usually unessasry resil (horde replaces trinket with the wintergrasp version) and allows you to actually use a DPS trinket instead.

TL:DR; If you are gearing up, human and nelf are quite equal if you can utilize shadowmeld. But end game PVP wise human simply wins, being able to have a 2nd slot available for more utility or having another beastly DPS trinket simply takes the cake. Especially seeing how the rest of the racials aint bad (sword expertise + stealth detection).

Human definitely is the master race for rogue. It's been theorycrafted through and through.

Bloodelves and Nightelves tied in 2nd place for outplaying others.

The rest are either useless, situational (rarely), or just meh.
