WotLK My Computer doesnt want to run the WOTLK OS X client.

I downloaded Wrath of The Lich king OS X client on my mac, and it doesn't want to run on my computer. Basically, a little screen pops up that say: ''PowerPC programs is no longer supported''. What is PowerPC and how can i resolve this problem? Is there any chance that Warmane can upgrade the software to Mac OS X El Capitan or find a way to support these ''Power PC'' programs?

I would be very pleased if you could help me or simply get some answers to understand this. Sorry for my bad english, hope you get the point.
