1. If we count books, I'd disagree. especially rise of the lich king <3 its soooooo emotional and good ;3
Warhammer 40k has some awesome books too. At the very least you can't deny that the 40k universe has a ridiculously deep lore.

  2. I met Matrix, ex Horde player on Lordaeron...on twitch Warcraft 3 stream... Nick MatrixMKD.

yepyep. I'd say its a matter of a taste and perspective tho.

  4. "I hate No Man's Sky because I believed the developer's lies and expected to get to play the game with friends as advertised."
"I hate No Man's Sky because I pre-ordered a indie co-op exploring game from a indie company with no proof of working features" - Person who bought an overpriced single-player exploring indie game.

Seriously tho, why pre-order indies ?!?

    I don't pre-order anything.

    Unless it's WoW.

Who said anything about pre-ordering? Is that projecting?
Is the concept of having great expectations of having fun with friends based on what's repeatedly stated by developers something that requires money in your dark corner of the world?

I have a have 30gig audiobook collection from warhammer 40k, not even counting the novels, codex and other books not voiced. Some of them with multiple voices and sounds effects. How many books does warcraft have 10-15 at best?

  9. It helps that Warhammer 40k is a decade older than Warcraft, and a decade and a half older than WoW.

But at the same time, a fair amount of both Warcraft and Starcraft are based on Warhammer.

  10. Offtopic (from 40k vs warcraft books), but try reading the books about Drizzt or the wheel of time, the prince of throns, inheritance, the first law, the name of the wind (patrick rotfuss series). All awesome fantasy books, I can highly recommend.

The only good fantasy book is Book of the New Sun and maybe some Bakker stuff (Prince of Nothing).
Tolkien and the Greeks are a must too if you want to go into fantasy. Everything else is fanfic-tier.

I was thinking of trying the prince of nothing but it's unlikely to be soon, rip. Can't agree on those books being the only fantasy tho. Everyone has their taste when it comes to books and some fantasies are more appealing than others. For example, I can't for the life of me read the harry potter books. It's literally the most boring fantasy I've ever tried.
