Alright so as the title suggests I'm looking for tips like, what quests are bugged to give exp on the spot or good fast quest chains like arenas ect or how to make gold and where to find addons. I'm very new to MoP in general and am currently a level 65 troll druid, the addons I'm mainly looking for are (may be named incorrectly) Quartz cast bar, doom pulse cooldown, snowfall key press, And any other usefull addons for pvp and or leveling. I welcome anything that may be helpful in some way to my MoP experience.
Hints (to help leveling):
- Current exp rate is x7. That being said, skip all and any unnecessarily difficult quests that may come as an anchor to your leveling process. There are plenty to choose from. The high exp rate compensates the bugged amount of quests, which should even things out a bit. Since you're lvl 65, you could try Blade's Edge Mountains in Outland. Then progressively work your way up, and don't get too attatched to specific zones. Do 2-3 quests (or enough for you to level up), then move on. If a zone says it's meant for levels 65-68, you don't have to actually stay there until lvl 68, because chances are the latter quests may be bugged. Jump from boat to boat and do the easy quests. Do whatever suits your needs. :-)
- Join a level 25 guild to speed up your experience gain. Actually not only for that, it's pretty much mandatory if you don't want to spend ages on... everything.
Hints (once you're lvl 90):
- Mistfall Village (in Valley of Eternal Blossoms) contains NPCs with easy daily quests that are great for farming windwool cloth and motes of harmony (the gold drop is decent too);
- The Arboretum (in the Jade Forest) contains NPCs with extremely simple daily quests that are great for farming gold. Something as simple as dueling four 790k hp NPCs (very easy), and you get 214 gold per quest. In addition, the cloud serpent dailies are interesting -- there is a duplicate of a daily named "Pooped" and it requires you to find some bags of... well, poop... which are nearby. Same gold reward, easy money. ;
- Take on the quest "No pack left behind" from Kun-Lai Summit, somewhere around center-west (forgot the exact location, apologies). Upon completion, it will reward you with a bag named Grummlepack which is basically a free Portable Hole (24 slots). Very helpful in any circumstances. There's no such thing as too much bag space.
- Obelisk of the Moon (in Uldum) is widely known for its dense mob stacks (ranging from 40-60 mobs per group) with 64k hp, with the occasional 235k elite among them. They drop plenty of Embersilk Cloth, aside from well-priced vendor greens and other items. Taking all into account, you may get around 100g per mob group (including actual gold drop + vendored items; the embersilk cloth can be tailored into bolts of embersilk and sold individually, they go for around 400-800g in AH for 1 stack of 20 bolts). Arguably the prefered area for grinding gold and cloth, but watch out because 1) you'll get wiped unless you're well-geared (Personally I am easily farming it with a 518 ilvl blood-DK) and 2) there are opposing faction members most of the times; some may not be as friendly.
Unfortunately you are a Druid, which is not exactly the most well-suited class for such an encounter. I'm having a hard time seeing how Druid can fit this Uldum grinding role, but perhaps it's worth trying.
Useful addons:
- Gatherer (if playing a mining/herbalism char)
- IceHUD
- MoveAnything
- OmniCC
- Tidy Plates
Most of them are customization-oriented, to help you personalize your UI. They do take some time getting used to, but once you know what you're doing, you'll be walking around like a successful salesman.
That would be it for now, I could've probably thought of some more tips, but I believe this should suffice. Best wishes!
