Technical Can't login ''The Information You Have Entered In Not Valid''

EDIT: I'm in. It was probably not on my end that was failing.

Hi, I'm 100% new to WoW.

I first installed the official trial version and after a bit decided to go for a private server. I created this account and downloaded the Wrath of the Lich King expansion player (the first version of the list, no the old one).

My problem is right at the login screen, where after inputing my info I get this message ''The Information You Have Entered In Not Valid''

I don't know what is happening. I'm sure I'm using the username and not the email and also the correct password.

The official trial is still installed with Battle.net. Might that be the problem? I didn't want to uninstall it until I was sure I got the private server player going.

I tried to edit the trial server list first. But most references to that on the internet seem to mention an older version of the player that had a file that is no longer there.

Is your realmlist set to warmane ?
