So yesterday I played a BG against a mage I couldnt hit at all. I was on top of him but he was out of reach somehow when he was moving. He didnt seem to be lagging and I wasnt lagging (I never lag). It's not the first time this happens since 5.4.8 (where i noticed a big change in the hit detection, big change for the worse) but here he was only hittable while not moving, unhittable otherwise.
So is this a new hack or something? Hard to report it without a video.
I won't talk about falling underground not fixed after 5 years where its already fixed on the most random private servers you can find.
No I dont have WOD models. It wouldnt matter anyways for this problem. It is indeed server side.
The player location is not what you see on your screen and in some cases its far from what you see on screen, so you cant hit.
Mostly harmful for melee players ofc.
Problem started being noticeable with 5.4.8...
I started noticing it after the last maintenance...
Fear and other CCs seem to really mess up player placement ie. screen says he is in one spot but the server thinks different until the CC ends. then he pops up where the server thinks he is. It is a pretty big problem for melee characters and pretty inconveniencing for casters using any sort of aoe. What I REALLY want to stress is its most noticeable during a CC!! Not many seem to be mentioning it.

This has been going on before we even had 5.4.8, bro. It's just that now it is very common to run into, even in world PVP. Pandaria is a glitch fest for most idle players you run into succumbs to this.
