WotLK WoW checking account details with blizzards server

Hi, I was trying to log in today but everytime I enter my name and password into the wow client it says that my login information is not valid and that I need to check with blizzards support to se if my account has been hacked etc. etc. so what I believe is that my wow client is trying to verify my account with blizzard and not with warmane, I don't even know why because I have changed my realmlist file to point to the warmane server, I need help ples.

Make sure you have a patched client first.
If so, the valid realmlist is normally stored into Data\<language>\realmlist.wtf

Also make sure your password is not longer than 16 characters. Website allows you to use longer passwords but wotlk client only accepts 16 characters.

Zelta, not to be rude but as I wrote I already edited the realmlist file to point the client to the warmane server, but it's working now without me changing anything so it might have just been a weird bug. But nevertheless, thank you for trying to help :) (and you to anyone0)
