Why dont we move realm specific topics (e.g. class stuff, general realm based topics etc.) into the realms?I know it would be tricky because of the 3 wotlk servers, but for me searching in the forum feels like searching a needle in a haystack. Even with the prefixes.
For me an approach could be (note that this is a first shot, not a full solution):
[list][*]announces[*]support[*]off topic[*]realm based stuff
Wotlk
General
Guides
Bugs
lord
General
Recruitment
IC
...
Cata
Nelth
Mop
FW
I know its refactoring a huge bundle of topics and causes a lot of work. So I dont know if its woth doing it.
But its a suggestion, feel free to discuss this.
Simply because we don't want to have ten thousands sub-forums. The current structure was built with that thought in mind, it didn't just happen to end like this. We already added thread tags for people to specify which expansion it's about, as you pointed out, and players generally specify on their thread titles or text which server they are talking about. Furthermore, people already post threads in wrong sections all the time, this would make it even worse on the limited number of Moderators to keep juggling threads where they belong.
