1. Questions from a new player

Hi guys! :) I just joined a few days ago and have had no WoW experience previously.

I am nervous about going into dungeons because I have only tried them once, but it was with my boyfriend so it wasn't too bad (alas, he has past WoW experience and is now too high level to do dungeons with me....*cries*)

I suppose my question is...are the players nice to new people if they screw up? I'm a healer and am concerned about getting chewed out if I don't heal someone in time, or die myself. But dungeons seem to be the best place to get exp/loot, and I don't want to miss out.

ALSO...are there any good guilds out there that accept newbies like myself? For a server with such a high population, the chat sure is quiet. I play in Icecrown, and am a level 26 blood elf priest.

    Thanks! :)

  2. Generally, don't expect too much from randoms of being "nice" to you if you screw up, however if you find a guild that can change. Also the chat isn't usually quiet if you're in the global channel

(type in /join global and you'll see crap ton of spam)

  3. Thank you for a quick reply! :)

I do go on global chat but it's so chock full of spam that I don't consider it to be an ideal chatting area, unfortunately. :/ I wish there was an active channel where people just chatted normally!

  4. Global is just spam for groups/raids, recruitment, and some trade.

Trade is mostly BS or how Europe is a country.

General Chat, just forget trying, I have :(
