Why is there 4k people in middle of the day, when the peak is highest.
What's going on? Is the server dead? It had 10.000+ now it can't get to 4.5k players. Why did i waste my time leveling?
Is warmane dying?

No one really cares about 1x leveling and blizzlike feeling. The only reason why there was a massive hype for lord was because of its 'bugfree' content.
After Icecrown got all the updates the realm started to die off. It will eventually become a standard 3-5k population realm, mainly for PvE players and roleplayers.
Like if 4-5k players is a bad thing for a WoW server...
In the past servers had 3500 / 4000 caps and everyone was happy, now with 5k there's drama.
First I want to say, you are telling us that the server can't reach a 4.5k population, when there are currently more people online... -.-'
Where do you get your information from?
Yes, the server had a 10.000+ population (actually 12.000), but a 4k population is still not "dead".
And where do you look when you say the server can't get to 4.5k players? Because when I looked yesterday, it was 7k online. I know it was sunday, but the last few weeks the peak has been around 6-6.5k.
"Why did I waste my time leveling?". Well, if you think a okey medium populated server is dead.
Remember one year ago, 4-6k populated server was insane^^...
Is warmane dying. No. The population as actually increase on Lordaeron too. It was for a time 5k at peak times, when it is 7k at most now.

ey, do you hear thats sound and feel how ground shakes ?
it boargrinders and roleplayers are running to bash your head and defend their carebears reservation
Well true that the population since its start fell off a little, I remember when it first opened it was crazy packed. And when Outland got released it was a bloodbath cause of the dual quests for both Ally and Horde, but the realm is definitely not dying. It still has on peaks around 7k players, which is pretty good, I recently returned and the leveling has been awesome, still some bugged quests but it is what is it, you can still group up with people for dungeons, you can still find people for elite quests, and I'm pretty sure you can do dungeons fine at 80 (I'm not 80 so can't say 100%, but I do see in global groups forming up all the time). I'm kinda surprised how fast people abandoned it and jumped on Icecrown.
In my opiniom if Warmane staff would chill down a little on their "muh hardcore realms" policies with enabling rdf and some other stuff the population would easily rise up to pass 10k, but I'm happy as it is.
Lmao threads like this should get locked and i don't usually vote for censorship.
The middle of the day? The peak time on the realm is EVENING TIME IN EUROPE, when there's about 6k + online, not 4 k and i just saw about 7,1 k 2 days ago, so wtf are you talking about? Even if it would be 4k, that would still be more than 95% of private servers out there. The pop took a hit when 2 other wotlk realms merged, but it's been stable since that and even growing, so seriously no idea what you're talking about.
These foking weird ppl that seem to think only 12k pop is "alive" and everything less is "dead". Where do you get that from? /facepalm

Lmao troll.
Most ppl on priv servers play on x1 and it's good the scrubs left to a high rate realm. Lordaeron has 6-7 k + on peak and growing so dunno what you're talking about. Also 3-5 k is not standard. Most priv realms would be happy to have 3k pop. Troll.

since lordaeron is full of "omg i dont like p2w" noobs who are not able to get credit cards or just dont want to pay, without highrate donation realm Lordaeron would drag Warmane project into deep financial minus so Proterean would b forced to sell Obnoxious's kidney or eyballs to cover energy bills

Very wrong to say that Lordaeron people are noobs who are not able to get credit cards or just don't want to pay. Don't you understand that there are actually people who enjoy working for every single part of their gear? I support the people who have donated, I have actually donated myself to skip queues only. I still play on Lordaeron, and I don't want to buy anything like mount or gear. Some people want to reexperience the struggle it was to get the best gear.
Would also be nice if estiaan11 could tell us where he got the population numbers from.

so how that denies my statement about low financial feedback ?
since Warmane is a buiseness project and every BP has to get moneys to survive, its legit to slap every Lordaeron carebear who barks at "p2w" realms while they make his Lordaeron journey possible
i bet there are more people who do not like marketplace than people who like slow character "building"
at least, in previous topic first part of my phrase has been mentioned more times

everyone knew lords pop would take a hit once the other 2 realms got lords core, and then when they merged them it to another smaller hit. but there's nothing wrong with lords current pop. hell back when i started playing we were happy to see 3k online at once. lord is far from low pop and even further from dying.
I know Warmane is a buiseness, even tho - they are offering a free server for those who want. Don't hate on the people using the opportunity to play it for free when it is. Still I agree with you, it is also wrong to say that Icecrown is a "p2w" server, I agree on that.
People should not be hated on for supporting the buiseness trough donation. People should also not be hated on for not doing it, when it is actually a free server.
(Even tho, I guess I am a bit off-topic, so I won't write any more about donation etc here).
just about any game with micro transactions instead of a pay to play model is pay to win. at least on warmane you can spend time and still get the best gear. i've played games where the only way to get the best stuff was via payment.
