As an European, this joke went too far. Quoting the Portuguese president;

The press fed the underdog, developed the underdog and when things started looking way too real it was already too late to fix it. He won and the markets are already going crazy with this and the Dolar value is already suffering thanks to this. The chinese market dropped in a monstruous rate, dollar is losing it's strenght. Now it's £1 - $1.24 / £1 - €1.1
Companies are hiking the price of everything here up.

For this to happen, every single country on EU would have to be in extreme misery and with their economy completely destroyed. Electing some weird president in France or Germany won't drop the Euro value as you think it would.
And following the market tendency, with all the buzz still coming from the UK, don't expect it to be worth anything anytime soon. Pounds used to be extremely strong, now it's just another standard currency.
