Wrath of the lich King transmog suggestion/idea

The current state of the item transmogrification is ok but the drop rate is too low and almost impossible to get the scroll.

My suggestion/idea is to put an vendor that sells the scroll for like 1000 gold which would be better in my opinion.

If it was purchaseable that would mean that each time u got a better weapon u could always do a transmog and not go into 10 million raids and try to get one.

What do you think ?

I have to disagree.

They're not supposed to be easy to get. Even if one had to put a gold value on a scroll, it would surely be 20k+ gold for one.

I don't think the idea is to have every single player covered in transmog, just the ones who raid often enough to get the scrolls. Consider it an incentive to raid more often.

If u think people are playing raids just for scrolls , u are playing this game wrong man.

People were playing raids even before this was a thing.

If u disagree fine. Your opinion but the chance on the scroll is too low and should be increased for sure if nothing else.

I didn't say people just raid for scrolls. I didn't say people didn't raid before the scrolls were added to the game. Try and stick to things I did say.

You asked for opinions. There's no need to get annoyed just because the first one isn't what you were hoping for.

The scrolls are a nice addition for everyone, but mostly they're fantastic for the raiders with multiple BIS characters, who have been completing WOTLK end-game for probably years now. They raid the most often, so they will naturally get the most scrolls.

In my opinion, the drop chance is fine as it is. If someone wants a better chance at getting them, one need only raid more often and hope for some RNG, like every other item which drops from raids.

They added a feature for people who don't want to raid for scrolls. If you aren't aware already, you can buy the scrolls for coins in the marketplace. I believe it's 10 coins per scroll. There you go, problem solved.

We have no interest in having it out for gold at the moment, an that's not likely to change. The drops rates are low on purpose, so transmogrification is memorable, no something everyone will have with the snap of fingers and change easily. There was never any intention for the system to work like "each time u got a better weapon u could always do a transmog." If you want to avoid the low drop rates and use transmogrification willy-nilly you will just have to use coins.
