1. I know that and that is also the reason why I have mentioned that the slang came from Warcraft 3 and not from League of Legends
My bad, seems like I misunderstood your post a little bit. But to add to the 2nd part, most LoL player also don't know about the origins of some of their heroes.

Considering we are on the topic of wc3 custom games, who else loved Warlock? Or was it called Warlocks....? The arena style magician fight map >:

  2. Eh, most of what I remember is 3957397443 versions of TD maps and Footies.

  3. Dj made me play WC3 just to play the original DOTA.... I sucked.
Now i got him addicted to League.

    mwahaha

Anime battle arena and the diablo 2 rpg were the best maps. The resident evil map was also pretty dope

Making it so your characters gear doesn't show up to other players is the coolest, especially with a zon

Legion TD was the ****. I Kickstarted Legion TD 2 and I can't wait to start the beta test.

  6. Anime battle arena
I loved that map, every character was broken as ****, which made it so damn fun.

Yeah it was tons of fun, and there was hidden characters and everything. You're actually the first person to know what map I was talking about

  8. I'm starting to wish I hadn't gotten into consoles and instead played WC3 and D2.

At least COD4 was fun, I guess.

    Spoiler: Show
    But seriously PC master race

I didn't even get to play much dota. I was on dial-up back then, and people would always do ping checks. I'd get booted for going over 100 ping.
I didn't play much of anything else, either. My parents were freaks about me using "their" internet at the time, because you could only have one connection per phone line. But I ended up using it while they weren't home. I ended up using the bulk of my online time for Diablo 1.
I played D2 a LOT singleplayer though. That was probably my most played game until I managed to finally be able to play WoW in 2007. I mean, I played WC3 a lot, but D2 was where the replayability was at for me.
About the Amazon, definitely. She was my favorite character because I thought she was sexy. "Strong and hot with big boobs" sort of character. Even had a bit of a gravel-y voice. My first higher level character on singleplayer was a Bowazon.

You really missed out on a lot.

If you guys don't mind the graphics, D2 is still a bit active. About as active, if not more active, than D3 nowadays.

  10. He can just play PoE in that case, I'd even throw him starting currency if he starts on standard or anyone else who intends to try the game and won't quit out before lvl 30 (right Radvo?).

I havent seen Radvo with even a level 110 on retail, always a different low level alt.
I'm 100% sure hes either lazy, has commitment issues or it's both.

Bowazons are super cool when you bug the items like I did, they throw the arrows since the bow doesn't show up.

Also I wouldn't recommend playing on battle.net anymore. There's about three real players and three thousand bots, I'm playing on one of the vanilla private servers on reddit, there's about 300-400 people on at any time. Also, if you don't want to play vanilla there's a path of exile type mod called Path of Diablo

  12. Playing on battle.net is fine if there are specific individuals you want to play with and can't be arsed to setup a connection to the private servers. But there are several private servers out there, like you mentioned, that support a sizable population. Normally I wouldn't recommend playing on bnet either. It's really in a sad state.

  13. I remember the pre-bot days. Where you had to manually refresh your game on Bnet. And then auto-refreshers were released....and then bots.

I forgot how I had my bot set up but it hosted games on Bnet and it allowed my friends, who didn't have CD Keys to log in via LAN and they were able to play on Bnet with everyone else.

    I miss LAN parties :[

  14. And diablo 2 has a secret cow level that's GG for finding items

  15. Good ol' cow level. "There is no cow level!"
The cows in D3 don't even moo...
The mooing in the D2 cow level is amazing.
