1. To the administration of warmane

As you guys know, a few days ago a certain scammer has been banned for 30 days... on 6 accounts. After talking to him today in a not very polite manner, I might add, on a fresh account he just made i presume i found out he's probably got around 20 accounts banned for scamming so far. In the past couple months he apparently made well over 200k gold, by scamming on fresh disposable accounts.

200k ****ing gold, can you believe it? ..I've played on this realm for 1 year and i have 2 level 80 characters and i havent even gotten 100k gold on both of them combined... Warmane's response to this, to scamming in general? 30 day ban.. AWESOME, so he will just make fresh accounts and keep trying to scam people which he's already been doing... spectacular.

Once again I find myself asking the moderators why do the ban policies on this server make so little sense to any normal human being? Why do botters get 5-10-30 day bans, scammers get 30 days, people who ninjaloot get 5 day ban, people who exploit get 30 day, but wait ! wintrading in arena?? perma banned... seriously !?

When are you going to take proper action against all of the aforementioned? When are you finally going to throw permanent IP bans for those kinds of transgressions? What's to stop me or other players from just making new accounts and botting/scamming 24/7? I get caught, big deal, I will have already sent the gold to my main account so the fact that i get a 30 day ban on a disposable account doesnt affect me in the slightest.

Seriously guys, stop being stubborn and careless and do what needs to be done and get us rid of those kinds of people..

  2. Why are you asking Forum Moderators about in-game bans?
Direct your questions to the Head GM, preferably via PM if you want an answer, since it's not part of his tasks to check Forum posts.

  3. Doesn't work. IPs are too dynamic in today's internet. There's no way to "perma ban" people (not accounts or characters, but the players behind them) without a degree of vetting that would be impossible on a "public-access" server.

Perma ban of his IP might not be possible, but permanently banning his accounts instead of only 30 days bans should be the punishment. If you remove his accounts, then what is he going to do? It should even be pretty easy to see who is his main account, since all you'd have to do would be cross referencing the IP address used

  5. Arena wintrade was 90 days not perma? And it seriously impacts server, whereas your inability to not be poor does not.

I can resell star rubies and make 100k, you must be exaggerating.

That might accidentally punish whoever's also logging in his/her computer other than them.

I know my sis logs in my laptop once in awhile

I am not. I've seen at least 5 people complain they got scammed of 8k gold on global in the past few days by him.. Sure it's their fault for falling for it but that doesnt justify the scammer's actions. Also in regards to arena wintrade, before summer started the GM's permanently banned a team for wintrading, they were like 1800 and were trying to get 1850 to buy weapons and for that they got a permanent ban. I'm not gonna be the judge of whether that ban is justified or not but if they can permaban someone for such a trivial thing why are they still just temporarily banning scammers and botters for ruining the economy?

  8. Cheating should be punished, not regulated. But it's more up to you to take care of yourself and earn your gold, than it's up to someone else to prevent easy profit.

Don't think it is easy to cheat or scam. If it was so easy everyone would be doing it and getting away with it. Try to do it and see if it's easier than i.e. selling items on AH. :D

  9. Newest update in the adventures of Rizer. He's now trying to sell his warrior on the marketplace. What's more interesting is, that a random level 10 guy is trying to sell 110k gold through sketchy ways at 1/3rd of the price on the official warmane tradesite. Also there seems to daily be more and more level 10 characters claiming to sell rare crafting materials at severely undercut prices
