Also, don't blame pugs. Thats the definition of pug, sometimes you form good group, sometimes bad. With pugs, I wiped on DBS like 5-6 times in a row, both 10 and 25m. But another time we managed to beat both Plagueworks and Crimson Halls, even went to Sindra on 25m, so, If I could, so you do. Just get used to it, that not always you will participate in "LK run".

hardship is what makes WORLD OF WARCRAFT FUN. yes its hard but when you get a piece of gear form ICC i promise you it will put a smile on your face. we all come form the bottom i even also is a solo player and always doing pugs now my shammy is 6.1k and my pally is 6.2k and iam not even playing full time. its just a matter of luck and patience

Join a guild and spend one evening per week in raid with them. 2-3 hours per week, is that really "tryhard" or something?
If you are soloing, you will ALLWAYS struggle in pugs, they are people who are not able to work together, toxic, bad, doesn't know tactics, etc. Are you one of them?

^ This. ICC 10 NM was tuned for 5k gs. You just have to have 10 people who know what they're doing.
In my opinion, get a 10-man together, and go do Naxx (the whole raid, not just one or two wings), then go do Ulduar, and then ToC-10, before you go to ICC. That way, everyone definitely knows how to raid together, how their classes work, etc.
You're not supposed to just be able to ding 80, and then go do ICC. It's end-game, and you have to treat it that way.
