WotLK Gold problems

So i had around 3300 gold on my new character i'm curently leveling (Brego on Lordaron).. i sent it from my other lv 73 char.. when i logged in today i noticed i have only 1500 gold left.. i didn't spend it on anything, so i don't know how this could happen.. is this some sort of bug, or has my account maybe been hacked?

Cmon, check the main Warmane page....gold squish happen. 50% of every1s gold is gone.

yes sir.. they have announced it for like half year.. even me as offliner for 1 year saw that

Was announced repeatedly over a long time. Ofc theoretically the only thing u lose out on is items from npcs, as in theory now that every1 has lost half their gold items on ah will sell for half gold now as well. doubt it will work out like this but ..
