1. Can your Battle.net account get banned?

I want to start playing on this private server, however, I'm afraid that battle.net client that is installed on my PC will scan through my computer, detect private server WOW files, and that my battle.net account with Overwatch and two years of Hearthstone progress will be banned.

    Have there been such cases?

  2. No they cannot. It would be illegal for them to scan your computer without your consent because of invasion of privacy laws.

The only way you can be banned is if you are ratted out, or if you publicize it on retail. To this day, I haven't heard or anyone being banned or prosecuted for playing.

  3. You can have more users of windows you know...
And if you are administrator, and have decent knowledge of pc you can even block things/programs to scan your pc

  4. Ah the mind of the conspiracy theorist.

Scan your pc, why? they have ingame spies (the wowstapo), half the ppl in warmane work for blizzard, they will befriend you, inv u to their guild, and try and find your retail chars to ban them!. Also they will go through your porn history and activate your webcam to get pics of u for their file +

There's a lot more to tell you but shh-- i hear something-- they are coming for me-- i must run now!

  5. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... sorry, but this really made me laugh so hard.

  6. No, playing on a private server will not get you banned on retail.

  7. two years of Hearthstone
Am I the only one surprised that hearthstone is 2yrs old now?
