I'm glad Frostwolf has no 40 man bgs

I do bgs on both Icecrown and Frostwolf, and the 40 man bgs are one of the many reasons I prefer Frostwolf. Sure, it sounds great in theory to have all working content, but 40 man bgs simply weren't designed with a smaller private server player base in mind.

On Icecrown, it seems like the 40 man bgs (at least when I used to play them a lot- I stopped) suck up a disproportionate share of the queue pops. And inevitably, one faction will be much stronger in some bgs, which means a lot of the losing team will leave early to do something else, and that will suck up even more players to go join a losing bg.

Plus, the individual or even a premade has a hard time making a difference in a 40 man bg. It seems like a lot of undergeared players queue the 40 man bgs specifically because they just like hanging out in some big zerg where they can hide behind their geared teammates.

I think if they ever do release 40 man bgs on Frostwolf, the problems will be much worse than on Icecrown, due to the much smaller player base. I personally hope they don't and that, if they do, they strictly limit how often they pop.

There are opinions for all.

Personally, a priori, I would like that this bg is available since it's different from other bgs (SotA would be nice too). A friend of mine, actually, got some bored from always do the same bgs and stopped playing, but he said that he would come back if this 40-man-bg is opened... so... opinions...

I obviously know too that this kind of bg shouldn't be able before the 'do-not-want-to-do-the-selected-bg' (I don't know the real name) feature is fixed since not all players like it (or don't have the time) and it's understandable and respectable.

One additional reason I like this bg, since some days, sometimes, it's amazing the quantity of ***** players (especially some guilds (these guilds know who they are XD)) doing premades, and not only premades but geared premades, and sometimes even double geared premades... God! Such *****ness!

Although in those days/times, since so many ***** guild members are playing, maybe even the 40-man-bg is not enough, but who knows... I'd like to check it out.

Only a few of us did alterac valley on Frostwolf, but it was closed within the 24 hours it was available and in it's place we got silvershard mines the next day.
