Hey there guys, new player to the server fresh from a retail transfer and looking for someone to help me nail down a faction. Obviously being new means I have no knowledge of the server population (Allly/Horde ratio) so can someone let me know which faction has a consistent amount of North American players that are PVE orientated? I saw the server is from EU so naturally I feel asking on the forums before investing time to level would be best. Also, a general point in the directions of Guilds on either faction would be amazing,

I can't comment anything about Alliance as I am Horde player but here are some NA guilds that I know of.
-Clockwork (12 AM EST raid time. Progressing 25 Heroics with RS25HCs down [Currently big add is bugged.] Can't comment a lot about 'em as I've never met any of them.)
-Prestige (8 PM EST raid time. Progressing 25 Heroics along with 25 Normals. Does tons of 10 Normals also I believe. More of a casual feel than Clockwork. Definitely a warm community to be in, although it seems to get in some unnecessary drama with other guilds sometimes.)
-Fade (7 PM EST raid time. End-game progressing LOD. Fade has a long history of being an NA guild. Lost its color after core-swap as many players couldn't adapt to the new tactics. (Tactics were different on old core.) But, never underestimate the old tiger with blunt tooth; it still is a ferocious tiger. Not as great as it once was, but still a powerful community to be in. I wouldn't really call Fade an NA guild anymore, honestly, as there are more European or South America players now. I barely can name any who are playing from NA over there now; but, the raid time is still good for NA time.
Not sure about Alliance side, but at least on Horde side, active NA players are pretty few; if you get to know one or two of them, you will eventually know all of them with time.

I appreciate the comment! Hopefully an Alliance member finds this before tomorrow otherwise I'll most likely look to join the ranks of any of those guilds. Thanks again!

Not sure about Clockwork and Fade, but Prestige definitely will accept you as a social even if you are leveling.
There are definitely some interesting individuals over there; you will see me coming online on my priest once every evening calling everyone [CENSORED-CENSORED-CENSORED-CENSORED].
