Shield block value cap error for shield slam dmg

Hi . my name is blasterjk on blackrock i roll a prot warr . i sent a ticket and have been asked to write here . i will explain my problem in a sec but before to make u understand i have to let u know my gear . i have 2 t10 tank pieces , 2 t9 with block value , icecrown glacial wall and full pve off parts with dbw and death's verdict . the other day i bought the Shotgun with the block value and went to test how my dmg will change . i noticed before something is off . block value cap for shield slam dmg is 2510 i checked everywhere found this number as a cap . what does this mean , it means if i have more than 2510 block value even from gear or proc it wont go over the cap and convert the block value to slam dmg . i calculated mine with all gears talents , glyphs + bv from strength . im max 2.1 k . well this is fine nothing wrong with that . the only problem is when i get a proc from death's verdict or dbw . all the strength proc should be converted for shield block value what is 0.5 x str , but here is reduced for 2.1 k and won't hit any harder my shield slam with or without the shotgun what give if i remember well 78 shield block value , even without proc i tested to make sure strength won't get me over cap , but seems like i'm already at or over the cap without the gun and proc . well gear requirement are super high and the character will be 0 resil to manage a usable prot warr , that's also ok but at least let the few of us who has slam warrior use it to its potential and please double check and fix shield block value cap for slam . with my gear it's true i can hit full pve 6 k slam with shield block and all proc plus recklessness on a dk or a lock but it's just ridiculous . rele enemies taking that much dmg from me cos cap is broken. when a lock or a shaman or even a rogue can pump out more dmg with kind a starter gear .
