Just an opinion based off analytics from a Warmane video I uploaded that received a lot of views, what do you guys think?

i find it hard to believe, i was convinced id check the video and just see eastern european countries in top 10. altho if its based on viewers from utube vid, hmm could potentially be off.

would love to get some stats from warmane on this.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, but the bulk of the views came through this forum, which one wouldn't typically come to unless they played on the server. I agree something from Warmane on this would be pretty cool, but I would wager these numbers are pretty close, maybe not down to exact percentages though.

Crazy that Bulgaria and Serbia, which are one of the smallest countrys of europe, make the most playerbase.
I'm also suprised that USA makes only 14% of the playerbase even though its a whole continent. Seems like Americans don't like private servers as much as Europeans.

I'm also suprised that USA makes only 14% of the playerbase even though its a whole continent. Seems like Americans don't like private servers as much as Europeans.

That isn't a rocket science theory. The vast majority of the players from Bulgaria and Serbia are players that aren't able to afford the official product. In fact, the ones that afford it, most of the times get themselves banned, on a short term, thanks to their stereotypical behaviour. Regarding the Americans, most of them are extremely casual players that take long breaks from the game from time to time or they just end up moving back to Retail.

Besides, you are missing the cultural aspect - do keep in mind that different players have a different mindsets, some would look more in forums, some would check clips more frequently, others not, some would play more consistently, others would just from time to time or as a demo of the game, some are more- clicking people/ragers, others leaders/organizers (in deed, this does matter for stat meters)... It just has way too much psychology laying behind, so i really don't think any stats but the official (or hacked from the site) would be accurate and trustworthy

Tbh while I can certainly appreciate what you are saying, and by no means is this list absolute, based on forum stats, video analytics, and in game experience, I wouldn't be surprised if this list was fairly close to reality. I would bet you that 7 or more on the list makes the actual top 10. Maybe a Warmane staff could clarify. Anyhow thanks for taking the time to watch (:
