1. Dk and Monks PvP question.

    Thanks for any help and its really appreciated, im looking for Buffs/Skills/Procs

    for Both Classes that increases there Parry/Dodge Chances, i been googling but all i can find are
    people complaining about there parry/dodge chances or guides on how to burst.

    Im a rogue now and then i cant hit them no matter what i do Parry/Dodges for days to the point
    i just stop pvping, stand there and think "what is happening" sometimes not always it just gets really ridiculous. So i came here
    to get some knowledge, again any help what i should look for that increases those stats would help.

    Also im not that newb lol i do try to get behind them like a good ol rogue should do, but im here for get more info, thanks peeps.

    Hit helps a lot as well as expertise.

    Increase those and you won't have a problem...or just attack from behind.

    My monk have around 20.15% dodge and 8.07% parry+(15% on 3 stack), while my dk have around 5% dodge and 45% parry by default. This mean that Monk dodge can jump around 31.15% and DK's parry can jump 63% with both dps trinket proc. Ofcourse with 3% expertise its rly painful to land some important spell like kidney shot, leg sweep, scatter shot, and so on. In wow back is count as 270 degree arc, thus side is count as "back", and this should be doable considering you are rog and have movement speed advantage compared to monk and dk.

    PS: sub rog have around 41.77% dodge when both dps trinket proc and that would make dk and monk mad if u dodge their soulreaper and leg sweep :D.
    PS2: all of number comes from 550 pvp gear toon. This might vary with different gear and gemming setup.

    @above
    Hit doesnt help vs dodge and parry :)

  4. Most of the points above are invalids.
    Here is why:
    http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Parry
    http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Dodge
    http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...ishing-returns
    http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...returns+visual

    And an usefull device to use in-game:
    /run local b,d,p,r,a=GetBlockChance(),GetDodgeChance(),GetPar ryChance(),GetCombatRating(CR_DEFENSE_SKILL) a=1/(.0625+.956/(r/122.9625)) ChatFrame1:AddMessage(format("Unhittable: %.2f%% Avoidance: %.2f%% Defense %+.0f rating",b+d+p+5+a,d+p+5+a,r-689))

    My fully geared monk has 35% avoidance which is nonsense. DR in warmane is broken. Period.

    Your point are more invalids. If you really read what ur linking to us DR is just " more points you put into dodge or parry, the less each new one will be worth". First, the number i put there is taken directly from character panel, and it is should already calculated with frostwolf formula for DR. Thats why proper avoidance formula is just dodge chance+parry chance+block chance+5%. This is usually known as CTC cap for tank which is 102.4% on pve scene. Without proper testing we wont know how frostwolf engine calculate parry and dodge, even you wont get retail formula in more on "scientific" site such as sacredduty or simcraft. This formula is already updated and ur wowwiki formula isnt correct anymore. And on this topic personally i wont comment on the correctness of the formula since blizzard never release the formula, thus all of formula gathered is just data fitting.

    Those numbers seem about right, if i would of taken a guess i would of guessed around 60%, have any idea how stupid a rogue looks trying to get behind the target or to the side all the time using burst of speed? lol.....like a tryhard LOL. Damn.....time to gitgud lol and stop trying to fight them like warriors, maybe thats my problem. Didnt know that agility increases dodge chance of monks, so ye def will keep an eye out on those dps trinkets and those 3 stacks that you were talking about, 3 stacks of Elusive Brew?

  7. Would of / should of / could of doesn't exist and is simply wrong. It's always would have (or would've for short), should have (should've) or could have (could've).

    3 stacks of Elusive Brew
    He was talking about 3 stacks of Sparring, which is a Windwalker passive that increases your parry chance by 5% per stack.
