1. Need an answer from people who played on lord, icecrown and fw

    Hello peeps,

    recently i started looking for how to earn some coins to buy me a mage on Lordaeron. I found out that i would need probably around 60 coins (mage 70+ , recustomization, or only name change, gender change... idk, i'll know when i find a mage for me), and i would buy them for gold through the marketplace on website. As i saw, different prices are on those 3 realms:

    Lordaeron: 40 coins for 10k gold;
    Icecrown: 40 coins for 100k gold;
    Frostwolf: 25 coins for 200k gold

    My question is: What do you guys think, which realm, out of those 3, would be the best to farm up the amount of gold needed for 60 coins?

    The fastest way would probably to just level it yourself.

    I'm from Icecrown and here to get 5 coins you gotta sell 10k gold (and a -1 coin fee)
    To make professions, you'll probably spend about 5k-10k each unless you farm every bit of material yourself.
    It'll also take time to sell that much gold since not everyone actively buys gold and you gotta be competitive.

    Thank you for your reply, but that still doesn't answer my question, since i'm not planning to level up a mage on 1x.

  4. Lordaeron's gold rate is x1. Icecrown is x5. Theorically, collecting 10k gold in Lordaeron is quicker than 100k in Icecrown. If you already have a high level character in Lordaeron, I'd definetly farm gold there.
    Frostwolf is more inflated than both these realms, due to being 2 expansions ahead, but farming 100k gold at Icecrown for 40 coins sounds like a better deal than 200k gold for 25 coins at Frostwolf.

  5. I play regularly on both Icecrown and Frostwolf.

    I would recommend farming on Icecrown, as it has a larger population so 100k gold for 40 coins is a far better deal than the 200k for 25 coins on Frostwolf.

    Hope you get more responses so you can get more opinions.

    Best of luck in your gold farming endeavours.

    Gold rate on Icecrown is actually x3.

  7. With Icecrown's queue, unless you donated to skip it or is online at the right time, I wouldn't recommend farming there.

  8. Thank you all for your input. I'll be sticking with Lordaeron then. :)

  9. The fastest way would probably to just level it yourself.
    Hell no. Leveling from 1 until 80 on x1 rates takes far longer than earning 60 coins via trading.

    Im not sure if ppl on Frostwolf buy gold for coins.
    If 200k gold sells for the minimum coin price its a indication that the minimum coin price is adjusted too high and gold doesn't sell on that realm.

    I would farm the gold either on Icecrown or Lordaeron. I guess the fastest way to earn gold is to get mining and herbalism and collect materials all day long. Farm in different zones because when u collect many different kind of mats the stuff will also sell faster in the AH.

    To be honest, if you really do want to farm somewhere, then icecrown is prob quite simple.
    Level druid (instant flight, easiest leveling) through RDF or so, get mining and herbalism on it and get addon called tracking switcher (or something like that)
    That way you can track both.

    most wotlk bars sell for between 100-200g a stack. sometimes higher with titanium ofc being higher.

    Might take a while but then you don't have to level the mage on 1x.

  11. Hi everyone, Im woundering if any of these servers are pvp, pve or balances. Thanks

  12. Icecrown pvp = ****
