WotLK Cannot Open Game Client on Mac OS X 10.11.6

To whom it may concern,

I recently signed up to play with you guys and I downloaded the 3.3.5a Mac client and whenever I attempt to open the application I get an error message saying that "World of Warcraft" cannot be started. Could someone help me figure this out I'd love to get started playing ASAP!! Maybe its because my computer has been updated too recently?

I have the same problem. Just rolled back from Sierra to El Capitan in hopes of getting it to work, but nothing. Trying to DL the WoTLK (OLD) client now to see if it works.

There are a few issues with running this on Mac it seems, most can be fixed by using the chmod method which is explained here http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....wnloaded-files

But still no updated models working for me :(
