1. Leveling Question

Hey, i usually play on the blackrock server, but i wanna play on the icecrown one, because i dont like the limitations of some things on blackrock.
So i started leveling, the 7x is always nice.
But i'm curious as to if i'm missing something, because at a certain point i cant keep gear up and im getting slaughtered by mobs because i ltierally have 0 gear, was wondering if there was a way around this!
    thanks ~ TriZ

  2. As a first char it's never recommended to level too fast. Keep it at a moderate rhythm. Level up on green mobs. Get those gathering professions like herb/mining/skinning, sell them in AH, so you will have some cash while you're leveling. Once you hit outlands, things will be a lot better.

  3. with 0 heirlooms, try staying for a little longer in some zones, completing quests to get items; try rdf from time to time (there, everyone gets hard rekted, but after 8-10 wipes, usually boss is defeated); use your proffessions to craft yourself or get some gold to buy from ah your worst items like ilvl 5 racial (yet keep in mind you will outlevel them quickly so dont put too much gold here); also, check google for dungeon quests (chain quests) and make sure to pick them as soon as you are able to accept them... Till level 60 (flying), then it becomes a little easier, and you will get bc items from early draenor quests.. gl :)

  4. thanks friends!
Also is it hard to start gearing once im 80? I'm assuming like everyone is icc geared ..

  5. I'd say get a crafting profession, I've leveled many toons, and the easiest way to craft gear on the way up

  6. If you have a nice nationality guild, it is really easy and enjoyable to play with them!
If you are a healer or tank class / character, you will be able to level up quite quickly due to quick rdf queues for items, emblems and rep (ilvl 200 items)..
If you are neither, you are screwed.

Try getting gold from proffessions and quests, and buy a few boes from ah to help you have fair items quicklier (1st proffessions are really important :d), though i don't like this method, because most of these are coming from people who reserve the b/p from raids... you will choose for yourself, but be honest!

Also, some people try to make raids by themselves, but make sure to read boss abilities very well, because everyone will listen you, but on first fail (someone missed something / you forgot to remind), the raid will rip xx

Lastly, Wintergrasp for pvp items for voa (they are accepted there) and after 4k gs, weekly raid quests, and you will make it! :)

  7. P.s.: Oh how could i forget. If you are on horde side, try joininh <Ohdo> - this is a guild of some really nice people, who will give you a great time & help while levelling and you will remember them for the rest of your... concious life!

  8. oki, i was going to level my warrior, because i played arms since vanillia and really got into it in wotlk so that's what i wanted to level :P

  9. I agree. I was a fury warrior and it took me a lot of time hearing after 80. There is a LOT of demand for tanks and healer. Especially tanks. If ur a tank then it shouldn't take u long to gear. It almost took me a month and a half to reach 5k gs. Btw I only did PVE with my fury so one month is a lot. Btw I also played only 10-12 hours a week.

  10. oki, i was going to level my warrior, because i played arms since vanillia and really got into it in wotlk so that's what i wanted to level :P
Well you're a pvp player, so i would assume by you playing on blackrock, unless you plan to donate for SM you wont be competetive in arenas without it. Sadly this is true, whoever thinks diffrently has brain issues. So i wouldnt suggest going way of ARMS especially as a first char here, atleast not for pvp.

  11. Plan on using my dk, and farming to make coins to get smourne so dont worry, that weapon carrys noobs to 2k rating rofl
