Technical Problem with addons

Hello!
I have downloaded recount, extracted and paste it on the world of warcraft>interface>addon folder. When i log in into my account, it appears the "addon" tab in the character selection, and when i click it, the recount box is marked and the "log out of date AddOns" is too. But when i enter in the game, the addon doesn't appear to me, and if i go to the wow option>interface, the addon tab isn't there too. I tried to write the command: /recount show and it says that the command is invalid. I had download other versions of recount, but no one of them is working too. Can someone help me?

Have you downloaded the addon here on the forums?

These are all compatible with the game version used on this server. Try getting addons there.

And to show the recount tab the command is /recount show. Make sure you are out of combat first before doing so.
