1. [TBC] Ability to Lock XP

With the release of the TBC server, I believe this feature is necessary and shouldn't impact Outlands's gameplay as much(relatable to Icecrown with Transmogrification).

My suggestion is to have the ability to Lock XP in TBC. It could be done for 5 coins/points each time.

In doing this, it will benefit some of the Twinks in Outlands (Even though, is the least of the concern of the community), however, it also benefits those who like slower rates by allowing them to lock their XP, do some quests/dungeons etc. and then unlock so they can also get a feel of the Burning Crusade content.

Cost 5 coins, benefit those who like slower rates.... why not just say what you mean, you want to be OP as hell on a twink and not be limited in what you can do while staying OP.

IMO this probably shouldn't happen as TBC has (relatively) balanced low level pvp, allowing people to lock level and gear to hell will help mess that balance up significantly.

However if allowed to happen the cost should be coins only and more like 30coins.

Any custom server arguments are irrelevant, Lordaeron is a custom server after all.

  3. The main reason this could be good because of the x5 rates you can get some levels, lock XP get some gear, and then continue your way to leveling. A server had this feature in the past and it was a great addition, sure it helps twinks, but it would help levelers more.

  4. We've been thinking about a fair number of website-side features for TBC. An example would be dual spec. We are still just thinking about it currently. We haven't decided yet. But these suggestions are welcome and we appreciate them.

At the very least you should allow us to expansion lock if we want to play at level 60 in TBC. Old Naxx hype.
Then again, Old Naxx will probably be closed, be the 3.3.5 version copy-pasted, or be completely broken.

So you're trying to argue that stopping leveling helps levelers more than twinks, because... oh wait... i see what you did there, you tricked me, made me look for a logical argument where there is none! You just asserted something which is false.

Fair play though, repeating a lie can be useful, and with the level of intelligence typically found on here, it's been repeatedly proven to be a highly effective tactic.

Seems cretinous at first, uses cretinous rational, is cretinous, but when factoring the typical level of intelligence around, and your real intention, into consideration, it's not so stupid after all!

Why are you acting like this feature does anything but be beneficial to the community? It doesn't change anything but allow players to play a certain way in which they like. It doesn't affect end-game content and progression, leveling, or professions. So why exactly SHOULDN'T it exist as an option? Blizzard ended up adding it in WotLK and it doesn't affect how the majority of players experience anything in TBC.
