1. Store in Outland

Hey guys. How you know, there's a store where you can spend points and coins to buy items; transmogs, etc.

There will be the Store available at Outland release?

And what we will be able to buy from it?

    What the store must have?

    Ty.

  2. I hope only for some cosmetics, maybe some mount but ofc no end game gear.
    Will see

  3. There is nothing to obtain from vote shop for TBC.

  4. I've heard it will be "Icecrown like" and release gear when an instance is "on farm by guilds". Def more than cosmetics.

  5. The Store will be Progressively released along side the content releases, aka no Sunwell Gear while doing Kara etc.

  6. Even though i understand they make alot of money from it, and they deserve it.. i still dont like the "pay to win" like icecrown... feels useless to put time and effort and pride in your gear when you know someone can just buy it for irl money.

IF they REALLY want to go for the "nostalgia" they shouldn't add more than cosmetic stuff in the shop. Because one of the nostalgia is also to feel like you accomplished something when you get a sick piece of gear right? how fun is that when 30 other people already bought it from the store the day before

  7. Unfortunately, vanity's few hundred dollars per month @6,000 daily peaking players (20,000 unique players and coins spent on 5 items) doesn't cover Warmane's 24 dedicated server infrastructure (majority being top end hardware available), near 50 staff member salaries (all Warmane staff is paid), premium hosting services, ultimate available network, security, anti-DoS mitigation and many other services. Unfortunately, it appears that people only pay to win after all, or at least many of people from our community. A guy that just got rekt by a 2H Warrior never thinks "oh wow... it feels good to get owned by you coz your items dropped from a raid" - the desire to smash the keyboard is is equally high, no matter if the player got it from a boss drop or spent coins on it.
This quote from a couple of years ago still rings true. It's just that we have more servers, more people and more services to run. The marketplace is a necessity for the kind of show we're running here. Like we mentioned previously, if there is demand for another TBC realm, we will consider a different realm design. We have no plans of changing the current announcement or the current Outland's realm design.
