1. [WOTLK] Error " Unable to connect. Please try again later..." blizzard...

I start the game with my username, but it seems that the game does not recognize the warmane settings.

    * and I've downloaded twice the torrent ....

  2. Same here, this is getting annoing tbh. Sometimes it works somtimes it will not let me conect... can't determine why. Any1 found a solution?

  3. Same here as well. Is there a solution besides having to wait?

  4. Im having the same problem. Both username and password are correct and so are the Set Realmlist settings.

  5. if you guys are able to log-in on website but NOT in-game it usually means:
    1. Your password is too long and can not be fully insert on the client. Solution: use a shorter one

    2. Realmlist is wrong. Solution: use the correct one "set realmlist logon.warmane.com"

  6. I've been able to log in with my password before. My password is not long, either. It's under 10 letters. I've checked the realmlist, and it is the right one.

  7. I was questing with my newest toon just fine until I took a quick break, now I can't login.
I've already updated the realmlist to logon.warmane.com from logon.warmane.ru -- its still not working. I also have a cataclysm client that I play from time to time, when I checked with that its got the same problem.

When I checked my browser, I'm able to surf the internet just fine -- watch on YouTube, read mangas, etc.
So when I tried to troubleshoot <Specific Website or Network> and I typed in logon.warmane.com, it says "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (logon.warmane.com) is not responding" So I tried a few TS steps like flushing DNS and stuff, but nothing works.
Is this ISP-related? I mean, I can pretty much surf the net, just not able to log in the game, so how can I fix this????

  8. The problem is most likely your DNS server..

    Try "set realmlist 188.138.40.87"

    (which resolves as "logon.warmane.com")

If that works, then switch to google DNS and then change the realmlist back to logon.warmane.com

If the IP format fails too, then your wow.exe can't access internet because of your antivirus or firewall or your router might have majority of the ports closed.

    Heya~
Earlier this morning I was able to play again for a few hours -- I was so happy then -- then I went out to hang out with my friends, and when I came back I have this problem again -- So I checked this post again and saw your recommendations.
I tried both of your suggestions, but they didn't work.... I even put my antivirus (Norton -- but I didn't have any problems with it for the past year) on Silent mode, but no changes whatsoever. It feels like I'm grasping at straws or something. Should I talk to my ISP, after all?

It's the holidays so I couldn't contact my ISP, I'll have to check with them on Monday. T_T

    EDIT:
Out of desperation, I even made new rules on my firewall settings to add the TCP and UDP ports...
Still nothing. I'm gonna cry myself to sleep.

  10. Right click norton on taskbar and click "Disable Smart Firewall". Then try again. Silent mode helps nothing if you have the exe blocked on software rules.. In fact check the software rules from your norton firewall. http://i.imgur.com/g9XDkdx.png Find ur wow.exe and ensure that it's allowed.

Also try ping logon.warmane.com and check if you get any replies.

After you have tried that, I'll think of something else.

Yep I did those yesterday, too. I made sure that both the wrath and cata wow.exe files are allowed in my Norton, plus disable smart firewall in addition to silent mode. Sorry I didn't mention them.

    EDIT:
Also did the ping with command prompt... the results are.... disastrous.
Of the 6 times I pinged logon.warmane.com, the result was...
    Request timed out.
    Request timed out.

  12. try ping 188.138.40.87 and check if you get any replies..

If that fails too, download WinMTR http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/ and put "logon.warmane.com" on the host field and start and let it run 1-3 minutes and take a screenshot or export to text and paste here.
