Any Ideas why devs don't want to show real online and put massive delay on /who

its not Blizzlike and I like to Shift-Click on player names to see lvl and class before inviting them to group
currently delay is around 80 sec

There is a delay for the same reason we have a delay in the AH, to prevent bots flooding us with lots of requests.

We do show online people already, you just have to check the home page. If you do not trust these numbers, you will have to search for alternative ways to count the population.
