Spoken like a true socialist. Many private servers go belly up for having no, to little income. I for one don't see the point in worry about how players get their gear, quite honestly, it's none of my business and I just don't see how you could possibly care either. Gear is gear, the expansion itself is over 10 years old, it's not like we're talking about something new and exciting. TBC might be "new" here on Warmane, but Warmane didn't create the expansion. A large number of people get what i'm saying, if Blizzard was to release a Vanilla, TBC, or WoTLK progression server, they'd charge you 15 a month for it, plus find a way to keep faction, race, gender, etc changes on their shop along with all their pets and mounts. Rather you like it or not, World of Warcraft is a business. It's a product. We live in capitalist world. Get over it. People have to be paid. No one works for free, at least not for to long.
BTW: You do realize that WoW's gameplay is completely based off of a capitalist model right?
Quest rewards are done for profit and rewards.
Raiding is done for rewards.
PVP is done for rewards.
Professions... pure profit.
Better get use to loving capitalism. You're living in a world full of it. Socialism is a kids dream.
