Which is more wanted for pve: resto shaman or disc priest? im casual player and pugging most of a time

Those seem to be more plentiful of the two, though. Which is often a problem.

As Mercy said, you can't really have 2 discs in one raid no matter the size. Unless you are a really good player and gets approved by the raid leader / guild master, you will have pretty low chance of going to the raid.

While resto shaman, even if you are doing pretty bad, they will take you if they have absolutely no other healer available.

So, consider that too.
