I wanted to change my account password, but the website says "Invalid new password provided, try again." every time. As far as I could tell, the problem occurred whenever special characters were included in my password (it was always longer than 8 characters, and numbers were fine). Is it supposed to work this way? My previous password did have special characters in it, so I would guess not, but I'm not sure. What are the exact requirements for the password?
Thanks, but the weird thing is I was able to use a password with "!" in it previously, whereas now the website throws an error upon entering a password with ! being the only non-letter, non-number character in it, and it accepts it when I switch it out to a letter.
I asked why I couldn't use those characters in a Ticket, while I was creating a trade description some time ago. They told me it was for security reasons (there are methods to abuse for DBs).
Well, that's okay then I guess, it's not as much a problem as it was strange considering in most places usage of special characters is encouraged instead of restricted. Thanks for the info.
