I personally don't think gear should be sold on the store on TBC server. It'll just let the PTW people overrun PVP like on WoTLK. I can't even stand to PvP anymore on there, because everyone bought the gear. Honestly tho, on the store would be better with mounts, maybe mats boxes or something. Anything but gear tho. I'm a strong believer that everyone should have an equal opportunity. Like if you don't work for it. You don't get it. Just a thought nothing more.

When it all comes down to it, the store is there to keep the servers alive. I get you want them to sell features/services instead of items to even out the PTW feel. However, I doubt this would be sustainable here in the long run.. You will eventually need services that make the game feel unfair. However a good example of a service that could be provided at the costs of coins instead of gold would be Dual spec on outlands, but where do you draw the line. Besides its a one time deal that lasts your characters lifetime.
Imo the store is fine, if people help keep the server alive its OK they get rewarded. Just be happy they do not have custom items.
I believe they said outland will not have items available on the store until items already have dropped several times ingame. So the by this logic, it could potential take months after BT to see the glaives on store.
All in all, they do not have an advantage you cannot get, they might just have it a few weeks before you get it with different effort (Work) ^_^. All the more satisfying feeling when you get what you are looking for.
