I have been trying to log into the game for a couple hours, the realmlist and wtf config are set up correctly but as soon as I enter my password I get the pop up for "unable to connect" Does anyone know a way to fix this?

pinging logon.warmane.com is yielding mixed results. Yesterday i got 200ms avg, today I got about 1000 ms avg with a few attempts timing out. Clearly something is still going on despite the message on the front page. I hope this gets addressed.
Edit: Ignore my results, I was re downloading the tbc client at the time and it was affecting my ping results.

Update, turns out it was my AVG, I had to make an exception and add the client to pass through firewall maybe this will work for you guys as well.
